my weird-weird story with mixtrack pro 3

So here I am , 2 weeks ago unwrapping the mixtrack pro 3 , plugging in the headphones and taking advantage of the free10 mns given by VirtualDJ to mix my fav acid tracks ; the sound is both deep and crispy . Waiting to connect to wi-fi and receive the free 30 days trial from VDJ since I previously bought the licence to MixTrack Pro .
So the day after , surrounded by wi-fi I get the VDJ 30 free trial and all the goodies coming for free with MTP3 : Serato Lights , free loops , ... I come home ready to mix with no time limitation , I open VDJ , push the faders up and : / the volume in the headphones is super low , impossible to mix in those conditions ... I decide to try Serato , my luck is not better , THE VOLUME IN THE HEADPHONES IS SUPER LOW
Would anybody have a solution about that weird occurence ? Please Please Pliiiz !!!

  • That problem has been seen more than once. That exact same situation happened to me afterI had just finished recording. I turned the equipment off, then a couple of minutes laterI I decided to record some more, and when i put the headphones on, the volume was real low. I found out that when i raised the fader, the volume in the headphone went up too. That was crazy. my suggestion, which, I did as well, is to return the defective unit. It's nothing that you did, nor any system incompatibilities. Its 2a decided ff. I went thru 4 units of varying issues until i got situated with a working unit.

  • Hello,

Sorry you're having issues with your Mixtrack Pro 3.

Can you please provide me with your full system specs?

In order to adjust the volume of the tracks being played by your controller, you will need to raise the appropriate channel fader in the middle of your controller. Use the Cue Gain knob to adjust the volume of the music being played through your headphones, and turn your CUE MIX to Program in order to hear the music in your phones.

Please also try connecting your controller to another USB port using a different USB cable if you haven't already done so.

Let me know how this goes.
