Voting choices for Fan Faves?

I don't see where to put in the voting choices for the Fan Faves. I also don't see what people will be directed to after they've voted - is there a landing page that custom content can be added to?

  • Kari,

After you've created your Fan Faves campaign, click Manage entries on its dashboard. Here, you can add and edit entries for the voting choices. These choices will appear when a user clicks the View entries button and will link to entry pages where users can vote.

To direct your users to custom content after they vote, select "Collect email addresses after people vote" on the customization page under Advanced options. This will create a pop-up message prompted by voting. When you check the box ""Collect email addresses...," a customizable form appears where you can add your content. Beneath it will appear a sign-up form, but even those users who choose not to sign up will receive your content.

  • So do I have to publish the campaign first before I can add voting choices?

Also, can I add non-form field content to this pop-up (such as text with a link or discount code)? And is the pop-up in a new window, or on the existing window?

  • Kari,

Yes, you publish the campaign and, as the next step, add the individual entries for your voting options.

Within the "Collect email addresses after people vote" customization, to add a text with a link, you can add HTML to the content for that pop-up. So to add a URL, you would add the following (edited) text to that form:

    Your Message

Replace "http://www.url.com" with your company's URL and replace "Your Message" with your message.

To add a discount code, you could simply enter that code into the form and it will appear in the pop-up.

This pop-up appears in front of the existing window rather than opening a new window.
