    Hi Max,

The information stored and shared with OpenID is dependent upon your OpenID provider. Some providers make it easier than others to control which information is shared every time you login using OpenID, and different providers have different defaults.

Typically your name, email address, and username are shared — because many sites require those attributes in order to create an account for you. Your provider offers this information sort of like autofill, so that you don't need to type this information in every time.

That said, different providers (MyOpenID, Yahoo, etc) allow you to control how much or how little data they store about you, and how much is shared when you authenticate.
