    I’m grateful
    In fact we have this idea in the roadmap but in a slightly different manner.
    We were thinking of providing an extensive form with all the necessary fields to build a CV in paspartout.

    So you enter all the necessary data and paspartout will generate a PDF with the layout of your site (logo, font, colors, ...)
    You will than also be able to include some projects you created in paspartout into the PDF, just a few clicks.

    But uploading a document can be a possibility too, maybe that's easier...
    What is your idea on this?

    Hi,

    Wow, you want to make Paspartout a very all round project! I think there will be a lot of people very happy if you make that possible. But maybe to start with, just the possibility to upload a pdf file.
    I think there are artist who are not 'business-like' at all and for them definitely a prefab template CV would be ideal. But for me (a controlfreak!) I would love the option of uploading my own styled CV.
    I would really like to upload the CV in two languages (dutch and english) so it would be great to make it possible to have at least two upload slots.

    Hopefully this helped a bit.

    greets

    P.s. I have another request/suggestion. This one could to difficult to do (but I don't know anything about website-template building) Is it possible to have more than one portfolio page (and perhaps more than one blog page)? I would like to divide my projects in to a product section and a graphic section.

  • Ok, we'll look into it.
    A pdf upload function is second choice for us.

    About multiple portfolio pages, this is not possible as such.
    But, with a little CSS there are a lot of possibilities.

    There is a hidden submenu with categories available.
    This is a new feature and not documented yet but I can help you making it visible.

    You can even enter a page before your portfolio.
    That's to say, your projects will be hidden at first and your visitors will need to choose a category first before they can see projects.

    In this way you can split up your portfolio in many different pages just with a few lines of CSS code.
    Are you familiar with CSS?

  • We're going really off-topic here but here's an easy solution to show the categories on your site with just a few lines of CSS.
    Go to the Theme tab, select the CSS sub tab and open the CSS editor.

    Remove all the content because it's just text about how to get started.
    The same text can be found in the FAQs so it's not lost.

    Then paste this in the editor:

    body.paspartout-body .portfolio-toolbar {
    display: block;
    padding: 0;
    height: 30px;
    font-size: 12px;
    }

    body.paspartout-body .portfolio-toolbar li {
    float: left;
    margin-right: 20px !important;
    }

    body.paspartout-body .portfolio-toolbar li.title {
    display: none;
    }

    Now hit save and that's it!
    You can remove it again by deleting the css code from the editor.

    The 'choice' page I talked earlier about can be activated as well but than you'll need some more code.
    There are a lot of hidden features like these and we will write up tutorials on how to activate them in the coming weeks.

    WOw,

    Thank you I will look into it this weekend.

    I just want to say that everytime I look at my new website I get tingly feelings. I really liked my old site but it was difficult to add new projects. Paspartout is a great replacement, very fresh and clean!

    We've implemented a download section on the about page.
    You can now upload .txt, .rtf, .pdf and .doc files.
