I have an old Paypal Account which was opened a while ago and which I rarely used. I then for some reason opened a new Paypal account and when trying to add a card to this account I couldn't as it is already on the old account.
The problem I have is that the email address and the phone number for the old account are no longer in use, so how can I access the account to remove this card so that I can put it on my current PayPal account?

You might not need access to those old pieces of information, as some of the ways we can assist you from your computer would just require you to know the correct information on the prior account.
There are Forgot Your Password and Forgot Your Email address links. Since you know your email address, you can follow the Password link. You're then prompted for some information about the account that only you should know.
Please read each prompt carefully, as we are able to assist even if you no longer have access to a phone number or email address, but there are some alternate ways we'd use to reach you in those circumstances.
Once you're back in the old account, you'll want to remove the card you want to put on the new account before closing it down. You can do this from the Profile link on your My Account page.
For future reference, you can have multiple email addresses on the same PayPal account, as well as multiple bank accounts and credit cards, so you can update an existing account with new info as information changes and not have to create a new account each time. If you are still unable to get into your account this way, you are welcome to use the Contact Us link on your new account's My Account page to reach out by phone or email, where upon confirmation of your identity, an agent can assist you further.
