We have access to additional information from the registrar’s office about the students in our sample. Is it possible to have these data merged with my Percept Research data set for each respondent?

If we provide additional demographic data (ethnicity, cluster number, gender, etc.), can Percept Research use the data in the analysis?

  • Yes, we can append additional variables to the survey data set. Any additional data about the students (or alumni) that you want included in your survey data set must be provided at the beginning of the project in a CSV (comma-separated values) file so our operations team can prepare the data and anticipate additional cross-tabulations in the analysis of the survey results.

This method is especially useful for Alumni Surveys which allows us to eliminate extra questions in the survey and reduce the length of the interview or make room for additional questions.

Please alert your Project Manager if you wish to engage this option.
