What if a student completes the survey after the deadline?

I was just notified by a student that he has completed the survey after our survey deadline. Will my topline summary be re-run? Will this delayed response be included in my results?

  • There are several answers to this question dependent on when the student completed the survey:

    1. Survey is completed after MBA program's deadline, but before the end of the survey fielding year

In this case, the late response would not be in your Topline Summary since we start producing this report after your program has confirmed the end of your survey.

However, if you ordered a Competitive Intelligence Report, then the delayed response will be included in those results. This is because we do not start tabulating the data for the Competitive Intelligence Report until the fielding year has concluded so we can provide comparative benchmark analysis.

Since this late response would not be included in the initial Topline Summary for your program, you are welcome to order a second Topline Summary (for a fee) to include any data after your program's survey deadline. You may want to consider this option if you had a very small class (less than 30).

    1. Survey is completed after MBA program's deadline and after the end of the survey fielding year

In this case, the late response would not be included in any results since the fielding year has closed and we have to start tabulating the data for the benchmark reports of all programs that participated. We cannot delay the reports for all other participating schools for any late student responses past the survey fielding year end date.

  • Update: We have renamed the Competitive Intelligence Report to the Program Roadmap & Market Trends Report. Please check out this blog article for more details:
