Can't get video to transfer to Kindle Fire. Perhaps problem is with conversion from MOV to MP4? Trying to use VLC media player. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for contacting us. Most likely this is a video format problem. You can try to use this software (free) to convert to a different format or lower resolution and then transfer it to your device:

I hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any other question.

Kind regards,

Thank you! And you are right, problem with Kindle is both format (must be mp4 or VP8) and you must transfer to PICTURE folder, not VIDEO folder! Kindle only plays Amazon video from video folder. Then open videos through Gallery App.

Handbrake looks really good, but geared to apple... and I did already find a program that works. It's free, seems really stable, easy to use by defaults, but can modify, and cleared malware/spyware scan.... WinX Free. Got two programs, one for MOV to mp4, one for WMV to mp4. Highly recommend. The package deal converts anything and everything but is a little expensive. But the individual programs work really well! Tried MIRO, uninstalled. Can't recommend that one.

Thanks again for your response,
