MAKE UP YOUR MINDS! Eye-fi supported?

  • Question
  • Updated 3 years ago
I have read here that Pixelpipe does not work with the eye-fi card but then I read on eye-fi forums that it is compatible with eye-fi, which is it compatible or not?
If it is compatible please provide a valid set up procedure that uese eye-fi center not eye-fi manager.

Eye-Fi is not officially supported, there are instructions available for a workaround connection however since it's not a direct API integration so we can not offer support.

Brett,

Do you guys support Gallery 3? In the past, we used to link to you via Gallery 2, but we only supported pix and not vids, via G2. But now, with G3, we officially support pix & vids, so if you support it, it would be awesome if you could update your blog post, to mention that people should use G3, and not G2, and then they'll get the full goodness.

We're not adding support for Gallery 3 anytime soon. I've removed the blog post on Gallery 2 setup to avoid any further confusion.

I'll get back to you if we change our mind on Gallery support.

Brett,

I'm totally confused. We still support G2. I'm curious as to how come you removed the blog post?

We're shutting down the old Gallery interface, we can't secure the connection like we do with our OAuth clients. If Gallery 3 supports OAuth we'll have a look at a future integration.

We provided you with API access last year, if you want a connection to Pixelpipe you'll need to provide a native integration.

Yup, G3 supports OAuth. Please keep us posted. We don't currently have any resources to add API's.

Please integrate it again. It was Eye-Fi that led me to Pixelpipe in the first place.

It was the integration with pixelpipe that actually is the reason why I purchased the eye-fi card in the first place, and the reason I recommend it to my friends. I will not buy any more eye-fi cards to my other cameras, nor will I recommend it to anyone until there's a pixelpipe integration.

Come on, it's sweet. Just do it. :-)

Sorry, but the reason that we support Gallery 3 for photos and videos, is so that companies like PixelPipe, and many others, could link with our products.

Reminder -- we also have FTP support, so if you're looking for DropBox support, try google'ing to find integrations between ftp and DropBox.

Thx --
