Why is PRO Dueling So Slow?

I have decided to nix my PRO account as of May 23. Already sent the message. I have monitored several of my images and over the course of four days, two of them have not reached the 100 guaranteed duels. Now I have a question and an example.

This image was uploaded in the wee hours of the morning today. It is winning its dueling, yet has not received a duel in many hours and is only at 19. I have gone in and looked through the submissions of other photographers in this same category. Seems their duels are way up, with the same ratios of winning. I just don't get it.

  • Hi Elaine - As I mentioned before we have had an issue with boosted duel allocation and it's taken longer than we would have liked to fix it. The release we put out this morning solved the issue BUT it will take some time (the rest of the day probably) to get though the backlog that had been created.

That said the image above has 2 duels in the last 44 minutes which is actually faster than average - so it seems to be working.

The speed at which images get new duels is also largely dependant on how well the images is doing in duels. The higher the imagescore goes - the faster the duels come in (at least for the first 24 hours).

  • Jason: Thank you for the reply. I have one more question. My Pro account ended on May 23rd, but it seems that it is still dueling as if in a Pro account. When will the "boost" and "duel boost" icons appear again and the pro account dueling cease?
