Changed reply in topic of my crabs aren't counting for myself the number stays the samecan u fix it i have at least 10 extra more than the number says! by Rowan to Hi All
Some progress locating this issue has been made.
A colleague and I ran through one of the orders (mexicana)
When he served up some food for my Order, it didn't appear to count on the Order summary on his account, but when I checked at my end it had.
after he reloaded his game and looked again it had counted.

I've not had any trouble with serving food for myself though.

Anything you can tell me that you think might help me reproduce the issue will be more than welcome!

best regards
Rowan.

Changed reply in topic of Help, my Brain Soup is still showing 1600, my id number is 100000163865579, i would be very grateful if you could sort this out, Thank you by Rowan to Ah, I've just realised you mean the Cabin Fever order.
That one still has 1600.

It can be done, providing that you have a nearly full team working on it.
These new orders were largely added with the big Facebook Groups in mind where older drive-thrus were intended for small groups of friends and don't require as many people to complete..

Changed reply in topic of Game has been broken for too long now by Rowan to Ah, I was only pointing at Chrissy's mention of the Collections.

But In brief:
1. issues of cash and coins vanishing. - The majority of cases where I've looked into this it's turned out to be a legitimate purchase that the player didn't realise or forgot they were spending the currency on. there are some exceptions though. I've had no luck pinning down those other cases, but I'm thinking it might be related to #4...

2. crew spots being lost, after accepted and being on jobs hours later the job disappears but player still has job open.
3. serves not counting to jobs we accept and help with.
The mechanisms for the drive-thru orders are quite seriously complex, but my understanding is that they only update when players log in.
So for example, you request help from a friend, they log in and respond. they might start cooking immediately but nothing counts until after you've logged in and seen their response.
I'm going to spend some time this week improving my understanding of this, it's possible there's actually a bug that I'm not seeing.

4. stoves turning into other things. - WIP, I'll get back to you on that one.

Best Regards
Rowan.

Changed reply in topic of Better rewards are needed by Rowan to Our feeling is that the quests are not intended to be powered through for their own sake, you achieve them as you play.
So for example, a quest to cover your diner in balloons and fireworks is something you'd do around the fourth of july or new years eve anyway.
There's a reward of coins and XP for doing it, but you're not expected to be going far out of your way for it.
If the quests were obligatory, or too expensive for most players to bother with then we'd bump up the rewards to make them more appealing,
but as it stands It's not something we feel the need to encourage and drive players to complete (especially when there are relatively few of them!)

There is something to be said for the ability to hide the quests, I'll add it to the suggestions-box!.
