50 Stove Limit

I personally think that the Diner Life creators have done a great job! However having said that here is the problem with this new 50 stove limit. I totally understand their point in keep the game challenging but now you are starting the same thing that CW did. Giving us new things and taking them away. Instead of doing that I might suggest that you leave things alone as we are still having to help the new players with their Drive Through goals. In a effort to keep things challenging when you bring out the new goals make them more challenging. The ability to sell things back has not really given us anything as the sell back is not really helping with the amount of coins we receive in doing so. I suggest increasing the stove limit and gearing up for some new more challenging goals and don't focus so much on changing things that we are use to and really liked about the game. Thank you!

Unfortunatley this limitation had to be introduced due to the collectables causing other gameplay elements to become completley
unbalanced. Basically it reduced the need to be co-operative with drive through orders as players could easily do them on their own.
With this change you would have to think about what you wish to cook the consumables on to achieve your goal.
We have tried to work around it by introducing the ability to sell items from the serving table, as well as the 100k unit limit
    on item counts.
I are aware that this will be a dissapointment to players; however it was very unexpected that players would complete so many
collectables, and we didn't want to restrict the items that you can have in the diner. Please note that this cap is a significantly
higher than before we launched the collectables. Please note that our aim is to provide a well rounded gameplay experience for everyone.

Yes I agree with Tony Good. 100 would be better. It's like being promoted and then demoted. I still love the game. I believe if I see another game that involves caterings and cooking, I will go there and leave this game.

I agree too and we need more challenging new drive through orders. It is boring just to cook some dishes because there is nothing to cook them for beside helping some new group members. Our group has lots of daily players who love those drive through orders Totally understand that you need to earn money too to keep it going but how about adding some cool decorations, tables. chairs, wallpapers and floor tiles to buy for cash....there is nothing really interesting i would like to buy for cash right now but know that people like to decorate their diners if there is anything nice

I agree with Tony Good, Annie, Dagmar and Debra. We finally find a game that is challenging, fun, and we work to help all as a team. Please don't do what Cafe World did. Please keep this game fun, and challenging. Taking away stoves was one disappointment, but we adjusted. Now your limiting our cooking to only 50 stoves. The drive thru is fun, but please send out some new choices. I like this game, and if need be move on. Thanks for listening, and please don't take away the time we all put into having fun.

    Hi All.
We have looked into this issue and have decided that the cooking limit
should be based on the player level. The value will be capped at 50
until level 100, where it will then increase by 1 every 2 levels. Although
we think this is counter to the overall game experience, we can understand
why people are upset at the limit being introduced. Initially we decided
that the new collectables would not contribute to the overall count of
allowable cooking items, as the expectation was that players would only get
    a handful of these.
The only other workable alternative to this would be to vastly reduce the limit
of the number of friends you can have in the game (currently at 1000.)

  • Thank you for taking the time to reconsider the limitations and meeting us half way with a solution. Most impressively how quickly you made the changes. On behalf of our group we want to thank you! :)

  • I’m irritated
I have to agree with the statements I have been seeing. Seems kind of pointless to be able to have stoves out and not be able use them. Basily it just means you are wasting space in the cafe by using stoves as decorations for all intents and purposes. But at least at 100 the restriction is eased a bit. So that is something to work toward.

In addition I do like the drive through feature. And if that is where your concern is about stove usage, my suggestion would be to do a steepled increase. With each new order being more challenging than the next that way higher level players have something to work at, and lower level players have something to look foward too. But it would be nice to see what orders your friends are working on (like Cafe World did) so you can help out each other and be more social a lot easier. I mean the game groups help by being able to say "hey who wants to help", but for the average player not in a group it makes it extremely hard to do the orders at all.

But I do have to say that even though am a fairly new player to this game, I am liking the game a lot, as it is the most like the old Cafe World game that I miss (before all the complications they added to the game). I think my biggest issue with the game though is the difficulty in getting enough coins. The on counter sell rate is so low as to be pointless to sell anything either from the table or your gift box.

But as a beta tester with other games, and an extreme gamer I would have to say that it generally should be expected that when you add a new feature like buildables, then the more aggressive players are going to work hard at getting the max limit as quickly as possible. I know I finished all of mine in less than 2 weeks into the game. My suggestion is if you are going to add a new feature like that then make each one a much more challenging quest to work toward, than simply asking a few friends to send parts. That way those that do have a 1,000 friends don't complete all of them in a day, and by making it more difficult to get the extra stove it makes it more rewarding for the player as well as allows to to figure out any of the unexpected glitches that crop up in real game play with the new feature and fix them before it becomes a big issue. But please oh please stay away from timed quests as that is and has been the bane of all game players on Facebook as it is the most frustrating thing and is the quickest thing to drive your friends away from playing the game.
