DJ Set upload - law - profit/ non-profit?

I have my own DJ Set played couple weeks ago. I want to promote it on play.fm. Do I have to contact each label/artist figuring on the track list? The DJ Set has been well mixed. Most of the tracks are overlapped and single tracks exist only for 2 minutes. Can I set up my rights on the mix?

Would be really nice to hear about the jurisdiction in this case . Can PLay.fm grant me authorization to upload my dj sets ? We all bought our records and we did create a unique piece using them . But do we have to get permissions from all our artists to upload a single mix here ? Questions , questions - they ruin my days ^^

Hi Milos and Mr. Morgenstern,

We, play.fm, hold licenses with all relevant collecting societies
(AKM, AUME, LSG) in Austria which themselves have contracts with
collecting societies in other countries.

As it is not possible to
cover every artist and every track on earth
(there are just way too
many) we ask you having permissions from every artist, label etc in
your mix (that's the legal lingo that has to be in the T&Cs).

Practically you won't get in any trouble for uploading your mix on
play.fm. Worst thing that can happen is that we have to take your mix
down if any artist or label complains.

Hope this makes you sleep well!
