Day one on rackspace and there's already network issues

TweetMiner is running slow due to rackspace network issues. Here's what they say:

"We seem to be having connectivity issues currently with the cluster your site is on. But our admins are working on resolving the issue. I do apologize about the performance impact that you have experienced our admins are working on an issue that affects our Mysql Clusters and working to resolve it fully we are posting information that we have available on status.rackspacecloud.com"

  • Not surprised, when I first started to use Rackspace, the MySQL cluster I was assigned went down many many many times like this. If you want reliability, run MySQL on a cloud instance or ask Rackspace to move your DB to another more stable cluster.
