I’m excited about the prospect of this enhancement!

Keywords / Hashtags Picklist in Tweet Editor

When creating or editing a tweet, it would be nice to have a pick list of our keywords or hashtags to choose from so we could add them directly without having to recall them from memory.

So do you mean like an auto complete feature like google suggest? I could also do that with @username.

  • Not sure how google suggest works...

    Here's how I envision it.

When you start or edit a tweet, the New Tweet or Edit Tweet dialog box pops up. It has the usual Cancel, Tiny Tweet, Tweet buttons on the left and the rolling schedule and specific schedule icons on the right. It would be nice to have a little drop down box (picklist) between those two groups of buttons that contained all the keywords in the we've defined in the Friend Finder -> Keywords and Locations list. When you are composing or editing a tweet and wanted to add one of your keywords, all you would have to do is click the arrow on the dropdown box, choose the keywords/hashtags you want to include and they would be inserted into your tweet at the current cursor location. That way, we could pick and choose them to include in our tweets without having to recall them from memory.

Is that clear as mud? :-)
