Hi Mechun,

Unfortunately, we do not support Chinese characters. Depending on the phone and cell provider, some Chinese language responses may display properly; however, it is not reliable enough to rely on currently.

I have the same questions. When I use "Web Response", I can type and submit text in Chinese. However, the Chinese characters does not show in the "Live audience polling" page. I can also see Chinese characters in "my poll" page. If it can also show in the Live audience polling page, that will be great for my Chinese classes.

Hi Maan,

Due to the nature of our Flash-based live charts, supporting more character types would increase the size of the file and load times. In the future we will be moving to HTML5 based visual charts. There won't be as many issues implementing different character sets and fonts with this type of chart.

So, for now we don't support Chinese characters, but we do plan on it for the future!

I have the same concern as well. I plan to use this application for my Chinese lessons but realise the software couldnt read Chinese characters. It would definitely be good if this software is further developed and certainly the students can benefit a great deal from it.

Hi there!

Our HTML5 charts will be able to support different languages. We have a beta version of this feature that can be turned on by going to www.polleverywhere.com/labs. Please give it a try and feedback is welcome!
