Add a background image

I would like to put in a background picture, like a map as seen in one of the tutorials

we plan to support this soon properly, for the moment you can:
just upload a larger image, which will be used as a background
while its selected, you can press up/down in the place menu, to arrange its visibility level, I mean press down to push it back to the background, and 'up' to bring it forward.

all the examples using images for background have been done this way...

I dont get this. "up and down in the place menu" what is the "place menu"??? I cant find this.... thanks a lot

It doesn't really help. because when you are showing the prezi, suddenly it jups to the orginal background...

Same remark : i've added a large image background, on which i put text objects . when i do my path and zoom on text, when i play my prezi, it swaps my image background and show me the original background , is it because the zoom is too high ?

Yes I think that is the problem. You might try whether importing e.g. pdf instead of jpg (or better yet: use swf) makes the problem 'go away'.
