When somebody uses the browser Google Chrome he can not see my prezi which is placed on my own website with the embed code.

I can see that is something but it simply doesn't show anything.

Thank you for your time,
Oswin

Hi,
I also use Googe Chome, and can see all embedded prezis. There must be an issue with the flash player plugin, or there are some firewall settings that prevent the person from seeing the prezi. Does this problem happen when the person tries to open other prezis too?

Hi,

Yes this also happens with other prezis. When he uses Internet Explore he can see the Prezi. He also can make and edit prezis with Google Chrome.

Strange, i also use Chrome and don't have this issue. Please check the preferences of the browser and allow cookies in the "under the hood" menu.

Are you on HTTPS? So far Chrome doesn't upload sometimes because it doesn't like HTTPS using Chrome. I don't know why but hopefully we can change this setting.

Hi Jerry,

it probably depends on whether the prezi is private or public. A public one should generate an embed code without HTTPS.

We have begun to incorporate a lot of Prezis into our campus newspaper (KMSN.ORG) and were really running into problems with the Chrome-No, Explorer-Yes problem. I made our Dress Code and Discipline Prezi public and re-pasted the embed code and YES! IT WORKS! Give that a try if you've been having the same problems we have.

Grateful to this post and especially Katrin Leinweber above... thank goodness.

I am having the same problem. I have changed to public and still have the same issue. Allowed cookies - still the same problem. I can edit and work in Prezi, just not show. (in Chrome - works in FireFox). Flash is up to date also.
Here is the odd thing, When I embed the HTML code on my page (Google Site) I get this message:
But to reiterate, the prezi will play in Firefox, and when opened in a new chrome window it plays.
So why will it not play in a Google Site if opened in Chrome?
Thanks!

I'm going to look deeper into my browser settings as Chrome on my machine at work, which is behind a tighter firewall, displays embedded content just fine.

Has there been any movement on overcoming the https setting for Chrome?
