Fade-out?

Can you have something fade-away after you move on from that frame so if you pan back over it to make another point the previous lines/words/etc. won't be in the way?

Well, normally no - however as ever there is a workaround, although I don't think it is meant to happen in this fade in feature.

In this example I have made a blue box, ideally it would have to be a colour that matches the background so it covers the text underneath - or some text as a group with the same colour as the background.

I have put the blue box in as the 5th fade in object in the second frame and then moved it - strangely it maintains its fade in feature even outside the frame it belongs to - so I put it in the first box to cover the text. If you follow this example you'll see what I mean - I had better say this behaviour is not supported by Prezi as it is not an advertised feature ;) Hope this is of some use, maybe not exactly what you were after...
