Hello All,

Unfortunately, at this time, Prezi doesn't have the functionality to produce great looking equations that include super/subscript as well as other required mathematical symbols. As a workaround, we would like to recommend: http://www.codecogs.com/latex/eqneditor.php, a website that allows you to build and export beautifully designed equations.

Once your equation is complete, export it as a SWF and import it right into your prezi as an image by selecting INSERT > FROM FILE.

Best Regards,

Vera

Any progress on the math type issue???
Allowing to import from latex will imply a significant step forward for using prezi in academics.Wed, 03 Jul 2013 07:15:36 -00002013-07-03T07:15:36ZRE: math type

I totally NEED this! I teach chemistry & there are ALOT of equations in my prezi lectures which it would be nice to be able to change.Sat, 26 Feb 2011 13:40:21 -00002011-02-26T13:40:21ZRE: math type

Hi,
I did not follow this thread anymore, but now there is a new presentation coming up again. Any news?

Would be much appreciated. I did not mention before, but some of my collegues and specially students would like to use it, but are scared by the work around with pdfs.

Brett,

creating a stunning presentation with equations (I compile the equation for you) that can be showed on our blog as an example.

You creates content, I help to compile very nice (zoomable) equations from latex source.

Hi Peter,

May I ask what it is exactly that you you would need on my end?

Brett,

we would like to add latex support. It's on our TODO list. I look for users who can help me to create a demo prezi (with a lot of equation) to be able to demo the result.

I have a small program, that translates a latex equation the swf file that is embeddable into prezi. It's not the most convenient way of creating equations but we could try it. Would you like to participate?

Since most of us in economics use LaTex to write our papers, it would be nice if Prezi could read LaTex equations.Fri, 11 Sep 2009 01:35:20 -00002009-09-11T01:35:20ZRE: math type
