Ok - to open something with the desktop version you will need the .pez file for the prezi. Pez files are NOT linked to an account - so it doesn't matter who wrote it - the desktop editor will be able to open it.

If the prezi you want to open is currently ONLINE - then you will need to go to it - and download it. There are two options for download - one is as a portable prezi (for offline playback) and hte other is for the desktop editor - you obviously will want the latter.

One potential problem with this is that the original owner of the prezi may have NOT set the share rights to allow other accounts to download the presentation. I know for my own personal account I will rarely allow strangers to download the .pez file as they can then pass off my work as thier own.. You may need to log in with the orginal account and sewt the prezi to be shareable and downloadable before the above method will work.

Andrew

If the above doesn't solve your problem - please provide us with the web address of the prezi you want to download and I can then try to help you more specifically.
