I'm experiencing problems with exporting a picture-heavy Prezi (no video). Theres 145 images in total, none of them are larger than 1MB, total size of the images is 60MB. So it really shouldn't be too big. I tried Prezi Desktop first, but it couldn't handle much more than 100 of those small images and kept crashing (on a computer with 8GB Memory, i5 2400k OCed to 4.5GHz and a GTX580).

The online version of Prezi worked fine though with just a few crashes. Now that I'm finished the PDF export doesn't work, I get an out of memory error through around 60 of the 74 pages, and the exported portable Prezis always crash when loading (the "loading wheel" doesn't get much further than a quarter of the way! Already resized and repasted all the photos to make it smaller but that didn't help. The only "large" image is the background texture which is 3500x3500 pixels, however with a low quality to be smaller than 1MB.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dear Fabrice Windus ,

Your presentation may contain huge resolution pictures.
Please resize them to 1280X800 or 1024X768.
Where it is really necessary ( for instance you are really zooming into the picture ) you can vectorize it ( for instance with the vectormagic.com software).

If you download your prezi to a Portable one, you can check all the contents in the 'Content » Data » Repo' folder. You can check here which is the problematic one.

The prezi can crash in a performance machine too because the Flash engine RAM usage is limited. You have to optimize the prezi in every computer.

Happy Zooming,
István Csúsz
