Hi do you get this error message updating PreziDesktop2, or the new release 3?

Hi,

Please try to reinstall PreziDesktop2, or - more recommended - install our brand new version PreziDEsktop3 with pdf export, print, and save to a native file format called .pez.

You can grab the latest version from here:

http://s3.amazonaws.com/prezidesktop/...

and you can read about what's new in PreziDesktop3 here: http://blog.prezi.com/

:) yes, you can use both offline editors. However we don't continue developing the old one, fyi.

I solved the problem in 2 different computers.
In the first one, I downloaded the latest version, migrated the old Prezis and then I removed the old version.
In the second one, I started removing the old version.
It was fine in both cases.

I had the same problem with the PreziDesktop2 update to 3. And than I intsalled the PreziDesktop3 instead the update, but now the offline prezi doesn't connect to online area. There is no page like I had before (left side the offline prezis, right side the online prezis).
And now I can't use the PreziDesktop2 neither, it has an error message. How can I solve this?

Any updates on syrtis's issue as I have same problem. It won't connect to the online area so I CANNOT use a style - as there are none and therefore I cannot create a new show!! AAAAAaaaagaggggghhhh.

So you have successfully installed PreziDesktop3?

In this new version you don't have an online-offline interface like in PreziDesktop2. Go to your window menu bar and select "Upload to Prezi.com" from the File menu.

Yes, I've installed PreziDesktop3. But I preferred the previews version, because the communcation/updating/group work on a presentaion was much more easier. I use the 3 version now, but mostly only on the online interface.
