Is it possible to use a short video as a Prezi background image With the new 3D Background effect? I know this is probably a long shot but I really am hoping to make something like this possible.

Hello there!

Sorry, but this is not possible.
The 3d-background feature only compatible with .jpg and .png files! :-)

Awe man, Well thank you for your prompt response. Do you have any kind of a recommendation for me? I have a 1920X1080 .mov file of a light bulb brightening and dimming. The affect I was hoping to achieve was this light bulb turning on and then zooming in and around the lightbulb until it turned off. Could I use this file as a background image on a 2D Prezi? This is a really crazy idea but would it be possible to create a gif basically with the prezi as a work around for the 3d-background? That would mean I'd need to cut my video into 24 seperate .jpg or .png files and have the Prezi change the images based on 1/24th of a second. I have only been using Prezi a short while so I am not sure how quickly it can make a change like that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to use this product to impress my boss so we can use this for marketing materials in the future. On our website and at conventions.

Hmmm... if you want to use it as a background in a "2D" prezi, I think the best way is to insert it as an swf. Swf is a flash object and play with loops in Prezi.
Check this manual out, I think it will help:
