I'm new to Prezi and am keen to use it to create a presentation for an upcoming conference. Can the Prezi be downloaded to USB so I can travel with it and use the conference facilities to present? Or can Prezi only be downloaded to CD/DVD?

I'm not sure, because to read the portable prezi, you need to run a .exe file and I don't believe the IT service within the conference will allow that from USB... and is it just possible to run a .exe file from an USB ? (I don't know, never tried :) )

Hi NathL and Shane Gladigau, I have just tried it to be absolutely sure and yes it runs fine. NathL is right though the organisers may have a problem with the .exe file however I'm sure if you have it virus checked etc it should be fine - alternatively you could transfer to a harddrive and put it in its own folder once upzipped?

I find USBs to be a bit unreliable at times so it may be worth taking several copies (CD/DVD/harddrive) just in case.

cheers

John

Thanks John and NathL. I'll give it a crack, but take a CD or DVD as backup (and maybe a standard PPT, just in case!)
