Hi there,

Are you using the iPad2? The Prezi Viewer app does not work on the iPad 1, but one the iPad 2, you can use VGA out.

Cheers,
David

How about making it work on the iPad 1 because paying another £400 for a new iPad is not really an option for us version 1 users!

Hi guys
Is there anyway to actually show any prezi from your iPad using the VGA connector? I tried Perfect Browser which has VGA out but your web viewer is using flash so no go there. I try to use the prezi application but you guys have not include VGA out support - an easy thing to do btw. In additionn to the VGA out issue on the iPad the native app has no support for PDF files? Please these have to be the top two things to launch and in that order
1 VGA
2 PDF

Editing etc can come later

Thanks
Steve

Please see http://prezi.com/learn/ipad-support/ for the current limitations of our iPad app. It will be improved, please be patient.

I have just started using the Prezi app and my first hit was to use a PowerPoint slide show with PDFs. I have an iPad1 and running Prezi for iPad version 2.6. the app is failry useless. It will not show the PDFs (just grey mass) and will not output to a VGA scren using the VGA out cable. It works fine with keynote. when will this be fixed please?

Hi Roy,

since the iPad1 is already out-dated, it is unlikely that we can invest the energy to implementing that, sorry.

I'm sorry to hear that. I understand Prezi is a small company, but I am not prepared to spend time and effort creating content using your platform, or promoting to others, if the company considers iPad1 already outdated. Beyond the issue of iPad support itself, what other current tech will go the same way? Will look back in again in a year's time or so to see whats evolving. Good luck with that.

If you look at the cumulative sales of the original iPad they stood at 19 million when the iPad2 came out. This means you are alienating potentially 19 million users by not being able to cope with this "outdated" platform. I bought my iPad in September 2010. It's a great machine and something I use every day. Apple have consistenly updated it, yet you have now called it "outdated"? the whole point of this platform is to look different and professional. I can continue to use Keynote with my iPad to do that. So like Richard above I cannot see why I should prmote your platform if I'm to be treated like this.

Same as Richard... iPad1 early adopter who has been promoting Prezi widely but frustrated by the continued lack of VGA output

Just started using Prezi because of the iPad app then when I test it on my iPad 1 no VGA output. Pointless having an app if you can't project it, might as well use a laptop or stick to Keynote because I know it works.

Hi,
I just made my first prezi, and I'd like to use it in a conference next week.
What I want, is to use my iPad1 and a beamer.
Is that possible??
Thanks!

Really not happy that the original iPad is effectively not supported by the Prezi platform. No PDFs will display and the ability to attach to an external screen is thought to be "not worth investing in"
