I have several youtube videos in my prezi and it will not extract all items needed to view offline. If there any way of resolving this?

you wont be able to view an embedded youtube video without an internet connection. The portable prezi will (just as the online version does) try to connect to youtube.com to view the specified video.

The only way to have a video in an offline presentation is to upload the video file itself into prezi - rather than use an embedded video.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your reply, however I have managed to previously download a prezi containing a youtube video as long as there was internet access. can you explain this? The extracted files dont show one called prezi.exe...is this where the problem lies?

Thanks,
Amanda

Amanda, have you downloaded the prezi in a portable (.zip) format? You say that after having unzipped the file, you could not find the .exe launch file in the folder?

Hi Zoli,

I have followed the instructions on 'how to download prezi' and I can get as far as downloading the zipped file, however it wont let me extract it. It has come up with several error messages regarding youtube problems and unresponding files. I have never had this problem before and am a bit confused as to what the problem could be. I am quite new to prezi so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Amanda

Amanda, sorry for getting back to you with such a delay. Could you please send in the online prezi edit URL? This way I could try to download myself and see what the issue can be. It only happens when you try to extract this specific prezi right? No problem with other prezis?
