How do I print and save as pdf. Nothing happens when I click the button. A colleage with Windows 7 has no problem with this. Is Windows 7 necessary for this?

Hi Chris!

No, printing a prezi should be independent of the host computer. Can you please try it with a new, empty prezi? If it works, the other prezi is somehow broken. Please let me know the prezi's URL, so I can investigate directly. If the dummy prezi doesn't print either, something else is wrong. Maybe outdated browser or Flash plug-in on your end?

Katrin,

Is there a limit to how large of a Prezi can be printed? I did a test with small 3 path Prezi and it saved to PDF and printed, no problem. My actual Prezi has 154 separate "screens" in the path and when I click "Save to PDF" nothing happens. Do I have to break it down into smaller pieces? Any thoughts on how small they need to be?

Thanks

I don't think there is a definite limit, sorry. The more media files are in the prezi, the more sluggish most things become. It's Adobe Flash after all...

If you provide the URL of the prezi, I can check for specific problems like over-sized images, broken media files etc.

As for splitting the prezi: I'd half it in steps, until it works. That way you can also narrow down which object is responsible. A tool like PDFTK Builder helps you stitch the separate PDFs together in the end.

Katrin,

I split my Prezi in half and it worked perfectly. Combined the two separate PDFs and I am set.

Thanks much,

Jim
