if you can't load images, ppt or files, this is surely a security problem.
please check :
browser : javascript, flash player allowed - prezi.com in trusted sites.
firewall and antivirus : prezi.com and flashplayer whitelisted

of course, general updates : flash player, java, graphic card, DirectX... )

Hi Akos, thanks for replying... After much stress (and not hearing from anyone for hours - which is something that needs remedying in itself), I've been dealing with Bobby - and after MANY MANY tries of me downloading my Prezi, he finally sent me a link that gave me a zip file that opened without corrupting.

I'm still convinced that there is something wrong with my Prezi, so please can you check it thoroughly, fix any errors you find please and let me know what you or I can do so so this won't ever happen again...my stomach ulcers can't take it...

And please let me know what you find...

Thanks in advance, Shed

Ben,
Can you send me one of your video files to akos.tothmate@prezi.com ?
Meanwhile a quick solution could be to upload your videos to youtube and then insert the youtube video into the prezi: https://prezi.com/learn/insert-youtub...

No, I don't think so, e.g Gmail supports files up to 25Mb. Let's try it.

Hejhej! Please try to convert the file to Flash before uploading. http://swftools.org/ should work, or any the many other options.

It could also be a network of firewall problem, please make sure that Adobe Flash and prezi.com are allowed through.

How do I allow Flash and/or prezi access through my firewall? Flash works on all other programs.

Please consult your firewall's manual or support material for instructions. It should be called 'add to white-list' or similar. Please also try converting the files you want to insert to Flash, it might be faster than trying to track down firewall/network problems.

Hi, as per the people below I keep getting this error. It's happened on a few PREZI's I have built and it's disconcerting - what is the issue? It's not with the internet as it's working fine.

Hi Rudy, are the images within the format and size limits? Please also check whether your quota is reached at http://prezi.com/settings/. If yes, please consider upgrading or deleting old prezis or files in old prezis.

Hi Rudy and Karen, would it be possible for one of you to look at my issue above (jonny.chippindale). I'm a premium user but cannot use PREZI online due to the problem I've mentioned. I link the PREZI to our website so it's a big problem for me that I keep getting this error.

Hi Jonny, I made a copy of your prezi and deleted all the broken image files I could find (one seems to be left, though). There also seemed to be some far away, or zoomed away objects somewhere around the main content. I couldn't repair these, and neither could I keep the path intact, sorry. Please make a copy of https://prezi.com/nfw0cwe-lad4/ and continue working with that. To find the image file that is still broken, I suggest you copy+paste the content in chunks over to a new prezi and check in between, whether the error appears or not.

Hi Karin - thanks so doing this. One point though - it always works fine on my desktop, it's only when I've uploaded it to prezi.com that I get the problems. I've overwritten the online file, I've saved a new version of the same file, but always get the same online error, even though it continues to work perfectly on my desktop version. This sounds strange no? It's almost like it's producing an unforced error when it's being uploaded?

PreziDesktop allows you to insert larger files than the online editor, maybe the latter's limit of 50MB is hit somewhere. You could also try to convert the files to Flash yourself, before inserting them into prezi. That eliminates our conversion severs as a possible error source.

Hi! there is exactly one picture in your prezi, that exceed the 2880x2880 resolution limit. The one with the ice, house of cards sculpture. Please replace it with a lower-res version and try again.

Hi Jen,

I found and deleted about 10 over-sized or broken image files. Please avoid resolutions above 2880x2880px and animated GIFs. There were also a few logos (apparently) that showed only the upper half. Looked like the export/save progress of those was aborted midway. The prezi loads without errors for me now. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi Ingrid,

I deleted this apparently broken SWF file and the prezi loads fine now. Please try converting it to FLV before inserting again. Best make a backup by duplicating.

I cannot find anywhere that I can see a list of embedded images to locate and delete the one causing the error. Could you do this for me? I have been asked to share this with our State Dept of Ed and really don't want them to get an error message when they go to view it.

Hello!

Your prezi doesn't seem to have any broken media files like the other ones I fixed. Can you please be specific about the error message you get? Even if is the same one as other users reported, it can be a local firewall or network problem. Please make sure that the Flash plugin is allowed to fully connect to prezi.com. White-list both in the settings of any web-security software installed on your computer.

Kind regards,

Katrin

Hi Joyce!

there were several images in your prezi, that exceeded the 2880x2880px resolution limit (gold pass, party entrance. I deleted those and it should load fine for you now. If not, please clear your browser and Flash cache. When re-inserting the images, please make sure you render the resolution down below 2880x2880px.

Kind regards,

Katrin

Done, I hope it was still in time... EDIT: Sorry, I mixed up 2 topics m-)

Your prezi loads fine for me. Have you tried the computer and software related suggestions posted in this topic? Most likely your firewall is blocking the Flash plugin from connecting to prezi.com. Which plugin and browser versions are you using BTW? Upgrading might help also.

Kind regards,

Katrin

Hi Robert!

I'm sorry, it's probably too late by now. The Prezi loads fine for me, this error must result from an overly restrictive firewall on your end.

Yes, quite easily in fact ;-)
There was a broken GIF image with 400x400px. Maybe an animated one? Please don't reinsert it just so, try converting it to another supported format: https://prezi.com/learn/insert-images/.
