I'm new to prezi and looking to create a custom background. What I want to know I cannot find on the site is what format the images should be for the best results?

I'm looking to use a vector style image so that it can be large and support HD zooming. So what format should it be designed in, what should be the export format and does prezi have auto scaling of the vectors or will i need to just insert a really large image? What we want to create is the same as the default template Product Cycle City.

any help is much appreciated

Hi Stuart Bateman,

these are SWF files (or PDF files which are converted to SWF in Prezi - no transparency this way though). You can make these in a suitable vector editing package (there are many) or use something like Inkscape to make an SVG vector image and convert to SWF. These will give you the zooming quality you require - because you can enlarge these images in Prezi they need not be very big to start with but some experimenting may be necessary to get it totally right.

Hope this helps
