  • I had the same Problem (sort of still have) but for me it worked with changing config.assets.compile = false to true in the production.rb (or the environment you're in). With this it compiles on runtime and you won't get the error.
    But i still try to solve this problem without compiling on runtime

  • Tarantula:install rake task is now fixed so that it will precompile assets among other install time tasks.

    Latest version which is available from the github repository (http://github.com/prove/tarantula) contains also other fixes considering assets. You can upgrade by issuing following commands as root:

    cd /opt/tarantula/rails
    git pull
    RAILS_ENV=production rake assets:precompile

  • Fixed, but I had to do more ...

    1) cd /opt/tarantula/rails
    2) git pull
    3) bundle install
    4) ruby 1.8/1.9 syntax fixes

    a) file: /opt/tarantula/rails/config/initializers/session_store.rb
    replace:
    Tarantula::Application.config.session_store :cookie_store, key: '_tarantula_session'
    with:
    Tarantula::Application.config.session_store :cookie_store, :key => '_tarantula_session'

    b) file: /opt/tarantula/rails/config/initializers/wrap_parameters.rb
    replace:
    wrap_parameters format: [:json]
    with:
    wrap_parameters :format => [:json]

    5) RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rake assets:precompile

    compiled successfully
    and running now
