Desktop Version

I like Pulse News Reader for iPhone/iPad so much, that I use it several times a day. I would highly appreciate a desktop version. Imagine scrolling through your feeds on a 27" screen.

Great idea! Make mine for Windows 7 please :-)

I had Pulse on Android but gave it back, way too limited at this time -- on the other hand the concept and possibilities are tremendous! I hope I can help make it better.

I just bought Pulse for my iPod Touch, so I'll see what the iOS 4 users have been getting so far...

We're focused on our iPad, iPhone and Android platforms at the moment, but we're glad the interest for the desktop version is there!

Is there a Pulse Reader for Desktop browser similar to (Netvibes.com) or (Symbaloo.com) in the works? That is what I would like. Thanks!

And? Does that mean there is a desktop version or browser plugin coming soon? How soon? The initial thread was started over a year ago.

Hi Alex,

Thanks so much for your question. We are working on a feature that we hope will satisfy the wishes expressed in the thread. We're sorry it hasn't come sooner but there were a few other features that were in higher demand (e.g. other platforms and source syncing). We'll continue to do our best to roll out these hot features and we hope you and the rest of the community will help us by sending more of your thoughts and suggestions. We do listen and take them into account when developing the product. Thanks again for your question and passion for Pulse.

Hi there, Pulse-folks! Is there ANY chance we can get an approximate ETA as to when there may be a Mac, or a web-based HTML5 version of Pulse? This is by far my favorite iOS app..maybe of all time! It would seem to me that if you charged even a modest amount for a desktop version and put it in the Mac App Store....that you are sitting on a goldmine! Please tell me this is your number one priority right now. If you could also add the ability to save an article to Reading List in iOS 5, that would be AWESOME!! Thank you! ~Erik

Hi Eric!

Thanks for the kind words. We're always happy to hear from our users. I can't give you an ETA but if you checked out our blog, you'll see that we recently added another team member to our web development crew! Check it out here: http://blog.pulse.me/77476672

Web is definitely a priority for us so if you think of other fabulous ways to develop the web, please send those thoughts over. Thanks again!

Best,
Karen

It has been a year now. Is it that hard to port it over from Java and/or Objective C to Adobe Air or a web-based HTML5 interface? I'm a web developer I have trouble believing that there is no visible progress on this by now. Come on guys, I have seen multiple posts requesting this feature. If you got something going let us Alpha or Beta test it.

If there is enough animo I will create a similar interface for the web. Anyone interested?

Yes, please! I think a non-browser window solution, like Adobe AIR would be more versatile for users, but a web-interface certainly would be better than nothing!

What is "animo"? I am interested in the web interface. Heck I can even help out a bit (considering that I build websites for a living).
