Whenever I look at news, I often get a Webpage not available - The Webpage at file://andriod_asset/webkit/ might have be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web adress.

I can read the article if I press back, but it's getting abit annoying. It started doing this after a recent update. Anyway to fix this problem? - Using Galaxy Nexus.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing this with us. We'd love to help sort this out. Can you share, which sources or stories is this happening with? If you can share those details, we'll be better able to replicate this and find a solution.

Thanks,
Karen

Hi,

I've been checking it out and it seems to primarily happen whenever I look at the Kotaku news feed (Also the first on my 1st page). Probably thought it kept happening when I looked at Pulse cause I check out Kotaku out the most.

If it happens to the others I will sure to follow it up here.

Thanks!

M

Thanks Miguel! I'm looking at the Kotaku on an Android and I haven't seen the message. Can you add a few more details about how you're going through Kotaku? For examples, you launch Pulse, then go straight to Kotaku, open a story, and tap on the web button immediately?

Thanks,
Karen

Hmmm... It's happening to other News Sources now as well, so probably it isn't linked to Kotaku itself. However, I do open Pulse, go to any new source I want to read and sometimes the Webpage not available appears after 0.5seconds of loading. Press back and the page loads perfectly. This also happens when I slide news stories one from the next as well.

Would this be a problem of bad installation?
I'm going to try and delete Pulse and reinstalling it completely. I'll get back to you after a few days of testing

Nevermind... Problem still persists after Re-Install.
