Profile and Records

If I want to store information about 10 customers in the purl database, then should I create 1 profile with 10 records or 10 profiles?
If I create 1 profile with 10 records then how do I identify different records while pre-populating the form?

    The purlHub system was built on the precept that a profile represents a customer, prospect or target. A purlProfile, is a document of specific data about a entity, person, company or organization relevant to the landing page's user experience.

    If you have 10 customers, each customer should have a profile.

    In the event that you have one profile with multiple records, records are selected by name, in pre-population and data render, by using the css flag syntax:
    <span class="phRecordData-{recordName}-{propertyName}"></span>

    Additionally forms within a profile landing page can be bound to specific record by the HTML FORM element's NAME and ID attributes: (like so)
    <form name="recordName" id="phRecordForm">
    ...
    </form>
