Can I migrate an old Mac Quicken 2017 with existing data into a newer Mac Quicken 2017 with existing data and have a new single Quicken Mac file with data from both previous files? Using Quicken Mac 2017 4.5.4 with Mac Sierra 10.12.4

Yes.

You will export one of the files to QXF (likely labeled "Windows Transfer File") via the File menu. Then open the other file and import that QXF file in and it will combine the two.

If you have two different files that you want to move into a NEW single file, the concept is the same (export both to QXF) and import those files into a freshly created file with new Intuit ID.

Make backups before you try anything so that you have have something to go back to if you don't like the results.

Note that this is an all-or-nothing process. There is no option to be selective about the content. If that is something you desire, you can add your VOTE to Add Ability to Select Content of QXF File for Export.

First, click on the underlined link above to go there, then click VOTE at the top of THAT page, so your will vote count for THIS feature and increase its visibility to the developers.
