QWin 2017: Can't download any banking data

For the last few years I have used Quicken 2014. I was never able to download anything without it crashing. I could get one account to download if went through the download-crash process twice. I could get no other accounts to download. If I tried One Step update it immediately crashed. Now I have purchased Quicken 2017 and it is doing the same thing. Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I tried all the updates before (though that was very difficult, since it crashed when I tried to update it directly.)

Hi S,

I'm sorry for the trouble you are having downloading form your financial institutions. To help us provide the most appropriate response, please let us know which Quicken 2017 product (QWin or QMac) you are using. Also, are you using the US version of Quicken or Quicken Canada?

Thanks,
Dave

I'm unable to download transactions from Meriwest Credit Union and Chase Bank on both 2014 and 2017 US Quicken for Windows. It doesn't crash. It just says "0 transactions available".

Any ideas?

1st thought is that Q2014 was "sunsetted" on 4/30/17 ... after that date, Q2014 is unable to download ANYTHING.  And Q Support for that product ended on that date also.

re: 2017, Meriwest appears to be a "Participating Financial Institution" in QW2017.

08995    08995    08995    Meriwest Credit Union    http://www.meriwest.com    (800) 750-3775    https://meriwestonline.meriwest.com    ACTIVE         BANKING&WEB-CONNECT         BANKING,CREDIT,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT    NOT_QBP    NA

If you just recently upgraded to QW2017, it's possible that you're experiencing this issue:  https://getsatisfaction.com/quickencommunity/topics/resolution-5-3-17-errors-unable-to-verify-or-ol-...

When I try to install the Mondo patch, it fails, saying it can't connect to the server. My connection is fine.

Have you tried NOT using your current Quicken data file and starting a completely new Quicken file, using stock categories...and then adding one of your downloadable accounts and see what happens then?

Because if you can do that, then your data is corrupted...not the Quicken software.

That wouldn't explain the empty box when I click Account List or the immediate crash when I try to open the Online Center.

And when I try to click New Quicken File it crashes!

I am having same problems. I have Quicken 2017 Home & Business version R6. USA version and residing in the US. I am starting from scratch. I have not used Quickin since 2008, (had v 2006 and all accounts are now new).
It will not open even open Chase. I have also gone into my Chase account and downloaded the Quicken files to my computer. It will not open these either. Quicken IT has not been helpful. Only thing they have said is that it's not their problem. I have Kaspersky secuirty and have paused it. No change so not my protection's fault. Any other ideas? Help?

I am also running a internet browsing filter, "Covenant Eye". Is it possible that this is interfering?
