Is there a data limit within Quicken ?

Since upgrading to Quicken 2017 R4 I am having problems adding transactions to various accounts.  I get message "Write Failed; So not flushing the data to the file." and recently keyed transactions are not saved.  I get around it by closing Quicken and then opening again.  Failure will occur again after a short time.  Is this due to more records than be handled ???????
