Manually entered transactions never cleared, because they don't download from the bank so there is nothing to match to.

I had 3 transactions that did not download from my bank, so I entered them manually on the correct date line. However, when I did a new download of transactions from the bank it moved these transactions to the very end and they show up as uncleared. I've done several downloads since and these 3 transactions never download even though they are in my banking register. When I click on the "Uncleared" link which then asks you to match it to a transaction, I can't do that since the transactions never download no matter how often I've tried in the past. Please help!!! By staying at the end of the register, I can't run any accurate reports for 2016, since the transactions always stay at the end of the 2017 transactions. I'm using Quicken 2015 Home & Business

Monika,
In that account, look at the column headers.  Which column header has an arrowhead beside the column name, and which way is it pointing?

Also, the date of the transaction determines if it appears in a 2016 report, NOT where it appears in the account register.  So why do you believe that it won't appear.

You can always reconcile them manually by placing the mouse in the CLR column, and clicking on reconcile. But, do make sure they really are reconciled or it will through off your balance.
