ORIGINAL ISSUE:

Some Quicken Windows users are reporting that they're receiving an install error when attempting to import a QFX file downloaded from their financial institution:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"

We have seen a few customers who are receiving a slightly different message that advises them to uninstall their Quicken program before trying to install again.

We are investigating the cause of this error and are working to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

If you wish to receive email notification when we have the solution, please FOLLOW this Announcement.

Official Response
This issue has been resolved. Thank you for your patience while the Quicken Team determined the root cause and resolved it.  The issue was caused by a notification sent to Quicken users in the product, informing users of an update.  In an attempt to prevent this notification from being shown repeatedly, an update was made to the notification process, which removed a file that was needed to correctly process Web Connect downloads.

You may have to perform any online function (import QFX, run One Step Update, Update Quotes, etc.) to fully resolve the issue.
