This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled How do I utilize the Purchase Order Form that I've created?.

Quicken Home & Business 2017
Build 26.1.6.1

I have a form that I have created for Purchase Orders to my Vendors.  How do I utilize ( fill in items ) for my Vendor?

Quicken H&B does not have a Purchase Order form that you can use.
The closest you can get to this is the Vendor Invoice in your Vendor Invoices (Accounts Payables) account, but I doubt if the format of that vendor invoice will be acceptable to the vendor.

But I was able to create a Purchase Order Form in QWin 2017 H&B.  What good is it if they give you the ability to Create a Form, but not the ability to use the Form that was created?

AGAIN, you did NOT create a PO FORM.  That's a Form type that Q doesn't support.
You bastardized some other form, and simply NAMED it "Purchase Order".

That does NOT make is a PO form ... which Q doesn't support.

Name the form after yourself.  Which makes the form you.  MUCH more reasonable that what you keep claiming.

I'm outta here.  "Your mind's made up ... don't confuse you with the facts"

In defense of the op...he just wants to know what he does with ANY form in Quicken H&B.

How is a form used?  How does the form get filled to send out?

I think you're jumping all over him due to his lack of expertise with the product.

And to be honest, the HELP file in that regard is no help at all.

Thank you.  At last someone is understanding what I'm asking.  Now, does anyone have the answers to those questions?

The only answer I can give is: Printing a Vendor Invoice uses some kind of a default, apparently non-customizable invoice form.
In a Customer Invoice you can select a customized Invoice Form.
In a Vendor Invoice you can't.

That's a function missing from Q H&B.

Your only hope is that Quicken Inc. eventually gets a round tuit and adds this function in a future version of Quicken.

Finally, the answer for which I was looking.

Thank you.
