Quicken 2016, Windows, Key Bank
Quicken stopped downloading for my main checking and savings accounts.  Had them for decades.
On "Activate  One Step Update" screen the are marked "Ignore".  I don't see a way to change.  Tried Add account again, but still marked "Ignore"
I keep getting connection errors, and Quicken can't Identify accounts.  Problem persists after many "Fixes"

You cannot Add or Activate an account that is already (still) marked as activated in Quicken.
Deactivate the account first, then reactivate. Be sure to select the Add / LINK / IGNORE button and change it to LINK. Select the desired existing account register from the popup list.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, please provide more details. What error codes, error messages, symptoms do you get?

I have the same issue but there is no "Deactivate" button. I followed the steps per Quicken help instructions but it is only showing a "Delete Account" button. How can I just deactivate the account in order to reactivate per your instructions? I am on Quicken 2015.

If the Online Services tab for your account shows a "Set up now" button instead of a "Deactivate" button, then that means your account currently is not activated. What happens when you click "Set up now"?

You might want to post more details about your issue, including version and release of Quicken and version of Windows in separate NEW POST so we can discuss it separately from this several months old message thread.

Ok, It looks like it is downloading again, but there is a huge number of duplicate transactions.  Balances are nowhere close to matching.  And on the reconciliation screen there are transactions with check marks by them all the way back to 2014.

My business accounts won't load any transactions since July and August.
Tried same maneuver.  Deactivate and add = no new transactions.

Run two businesses out of the same bank.  I have two Quicken files.  One for each.  If I say to ignore certain accounts in one Q File, does that affect the account downloads in the other file?

If you haven't done so already, I'd say it's time to contact Quicken Support via Chat or Phone at  http://www.quicken.com/contact-support  and report an Online Banking issue.
Scroll down to the blue boxes at the bottom of the webpage for access to Chat or Phone Support.

After successfully reactivating an account, you always get 60 - 90 days worth of transactions from the bank that have to be carefully re-matched and/or deleted one by one to avoid duplicate register transactions.
Subsequent downloads only download the new transactions since last download.

"I have two Quicken files.  One for each.  If I say to ignore certain accounts in one Q File, does that affect the account downloads in the other file?"

No...each Quicken Data File (QDF) is independent for downloading.
