Verification Code Never Arrives

After proving that I am not a Robot, 3-4 times, if then wants to send me a verification via text or email.  This code never arrives and I can not continue.  However, when I go thru the FORGOT PASSWORD process, it does send me the code to reset password.  I am trying to set up a new account and I can't get past the verification code. Any work around?

When you say new account, do you mean a new account through a financial institution inside of Quicken, a new account to link to your data file, or do you mean a new data file?  What version of Quicken are you using?  You put this in the Mac section but didn't not provide a year or release number.  Lastly, why can't you use the email you do get to reset the password.  The credentials used for the file should be the same as the ones you use to get into the site so either process should work.

Hi @ Alexander Barkoff ,

Do you reason, that you can make changes to your existing Account?
You don't need to create a Brand new Account.

First, and I'm sorry I wasn't more clear.  It's Quicken 2015 for Mac on OS 10.8.6
Nothing I select sends a verification file. Not Text, not email, nothing.
I tried upgrading to Quicken 2017 but I would need to upgrade to newest OS which I am not willing to do since all of my graphic programs work flawlessly now.
The point is, I am trying to add a brokerage account thru Ameriprise Direct 133 which takes me to log on, which I can do, prove I am not a Robot, which I can do, but the final step, Quicken Needs to send you a verification file, Select Text Email or Other. None of it ever comes through. It's the definition of insanity....doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.

Hi @ Alexander Barkoff ,

Without getting Quicken 2017, right now, do you have an Acronis True Image Type program that would allow you to image your Hard Drive containing your Mac operating system?

You could image your Hard Drive, then upgrade to the newest operating system and test all your graphics programs in that new operating system. If they work, fine and if they don't work, you can restore the image, but at least you would know for sure.

http://www.acronis.com/en-us/personal/computer-backup/

They have for MAC Computers.

Up to you.

Thought: Does Quicken have complete access through your Firewall?

If its a Firewall issue, it would stop it from sending a code when I did Forgot Password. That worked flawlessly.  A great thought, though. Thanks

After an hour and 18 min with Quicken Support, and then sent up to Escalation level......Zero.
Uninstall, reinstall, Clear Keychain, etc, etc, it's just not going to happen on my MacBook Pro. Quicken's answer... contact Apple. I have a more simple answer....find different software.

Hi @ Alexander Barkoff ,

Did you verify the Email Address, after changing it?

I changed User ID and it still points to my old user ID.  I went into Prefs and Connected Services to change or update User ID and it spun me into the 8th circle of hell.  I enter my password in and it says, this password is in use. Well. of course it is, you dummy, it's the one I created with my ID. I think it thinks I want to change my Password.  I am ready to find the guy who invented this software and.....ARGHHH

Hi @ Alexander Barkoff ,

I'm Windows, not Mac. But in Quicken for Windows, you can Open Quicken, At the top, click Edit, then Preferences.
In preferences, click Intuit ID, Mobile and Alerts. From there, you click Sign in as a different user. Next Window, type Yes to Confirm Sign Out. Then simply Register Quicken again.

I do not know how to do it in Mac.

In Q 2015, this just does not exist. Only update ID or Email and Change Intuit Password.
