To Quicken - it was mentioned by Quicken Kathryn that a fix to this problem will come in a future release update to Quicken - please remember that when you post a fix to the Windows 15002 .Net Framework 4.6 problem that those who need the solution CANNOT open Quicken so if the fix is released in an update to the program we will not be able to update Quicken since we can't open it - please post a proper announcement and post the fix as a download so those who can't open Quicken will be able to get the download and install it - thank you.

Hi @ Carl S Grossman ,

Thanks. That makes sense. I should have thought about it, but Users can simply uninstall Quicken, then run the installation program again and get the fix, in this Build of Windows.

No need to uninstall and reinstall Quicken.  All the Quicken user needs to do is download and run the Mondo update that Quicken, Inc. will hopefully, soon be making available.  This will update the installed Quicken 2017 and then it will open without issue.

The Manual Update, and Mondo Patch mentioned by Rhinecliff, can be found here: https://www.quicken.com/support/quicken-2017-windows-release-notes-updates-and-mondo-patch.  It's generally a better idea to start with the manual patch and, if that doesn't work, move on the the Mondo Patch.

Reality is there is no valid reason not to just use the Mondo patch.  The manual update will probably not do the deed, where the Mondo Patch is a sure thing to do it.  In closing, when available, just run the Mondo patch.

Important.... the files that are presently available at the link Quicken Colin referenced will not work for this purpose.  Those now, in need will have to wait for an R release that addresses the issue in question. Hopefully, the upcoming R4 will include the fix.

Same here. Mondo patch didn't change anything. I'm traveling and really need to get this fixed.

Hi @ Christopher Ware ,

Yes, the Announcement is closed for Comments, but you comment here.
Also Windows 10 Build 15002 is old. Build 15014 is out.
