I’m sad

Download exceed the actual file size!

A problem has occurred recently for me. When I tried to use FireDownload 1.1.7 in Firefox 3.0.13 to speedup the download from hotfile.com, the download just doesn't stop. It keeps downloading even when the file has been downloaded. It says something like this in the download status "153MB/30MB downloaded". the file is just 30MB but FireDownload 1.1.7 just keeps on downloading!! I tried many times and it still won't work. Can anyone help me, please? Thank you.

I too have this problem when downloading from Hotfile. I just downloaded a 175 MB file from Hotfile, it claimed to be downloading at about 2.2 MB/sec and had downloaded the full size within a minute and a half. However, it kept going after it hit the file size. As the screenshot below shows, it has downloaded 1.1 GB but in the actual folder where its downloading the file, its only 61 MB.

I let the download go until the file reached the actual size in the folder itself and after it had past 186 MB, the download slowed to about 100 KB/sec and then suddenly the file started growing exponentially and the download itself just froze. So I'm guessing there is just some problems with Hotfile itself.
