Reengaging our users, new versions coming soon.

As many of you have noted, we have not been providing our user community with as much satisfaction as the name of this site would imply. We made the mistake of setting up an account here without assigning specific responsibility to anyone to deal with user issues in a timely manner. We're a small company, and so the result has been that we have been very slow in dealing with questions and issues reported here. Our sincere apologies for that.

This is about to change. We've hired some people specifically to work with our user community to answer questions and act as a liaison to our developers to make sure that bugs and issues are dealt with quickly. We want and need your input because, ultimately, that makes our products better.

As part of this effort, we will be creating a comprehensive FAQ that will answer many of the most common questions. We're also working hard on finalizing new versions of our products (including Wyzo, FireTorrent and FireDownload) that should address many of the issues that have been reported here. They will be released in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out.

We look forward to hearing your feedback on our new product releases and our renewed commitment to engaging with you, our user community.

We look forward to hearing your feedback on our new product releases.

Count on me. I was waiting for a long, long time now to hear something like this. The announcement about a new Wyzo release soon really cheers me up, because it's something I was actually missing.

Any detail about this new Wyzo release? I mean, which Gecko engine version will it run? 1.9.2 or 1.9.1.xx?

Thanks for bringing Wyzo back to life! :)

You should rather hire more developers

@Someonelse. That would be ideal, but like any business, we have to operate within some budgetary constraints. We are pretty close to the release and think that you'll like the results.

FireTorrent doesn't work for me (FF 3.6) - I get the error:

Error: [Exception... Even though v3.6 has just been released, no one from Wyzo has bothered to issue a reply! Guess the users are not really important to them.

give radicalsoft some time, some plugins dont support ff4 yet eg skipscreen and smartbookmarksbar (but i believe its not automatically implemented in wyzo)

give radicalsoft some time...

Are ya ƒucking kiddin' me? Alfred DeRose posted this update on January 27, 2010. How much more time do you need to release another Wyzo version? Last Wyzo version is 3.6.4.1, built up on May 20th, 2010. Almost a year!!! And that version is only for Windows.

give radicalsoft some time...

Yeah? How much? One more year? Or maybe two...?

ƒuck it. ƒuck Wyzo. I already uninstalled it. It's dead for me. Since a long time I've been using Mozilla Firefox and CometBird and I can't complain about a thing. People behind CometBird really care about theirs user's thoughts.

It's no surprise that Wyzo is not EVEN considered a web browser for Windows. Guess why...

IMHO, begin thinking about using another web browser, pal. Wyzo is dead.

Wyzo isnt considered a browser because its just FF with some preinstalled Addons and another Design. eg. Seamonkey and Lynx (which is important for blind people) arent on this list, too.
What I meant with "give radicalsoft more time" was that since updates did always take long one should not expect a whole new Browser in a few days. I'm not using wyzo for a long time now and am satisfied with μt & FF with some addons.

Wyzo is dead. Has been for a while now, and I doubt it will ever be around again. Just use uTorrent.
