This app is fundamentally flawed. It does not preserve the song order. I listen to classical music. It plays symphony 1 movement 1 then goes to symphony 2 movement 1 instead of symphony 1 movement 2. I can't use it at all! It has great potential please fix it.

Carlton, thanks for buying Alubms & getting in touch. Please could you let me know:

* Does the iPod app play this album in the correct order?
* Where did you get the album from - iTunes, other download, your own CD?
* When you flip the album over (in Albums - tap to select, tap again), are the track numbers shown?

Thanks,

Johnnie

Johnnie, thanks for your reply.

Yes my albums play in the correct order in the ipod app.
The album was downloaded from Amazon.co.uk.
Yes track numbers are shown when I flip them over in Albums.

I know what the problem is. Albums is not taking the disc numbers into consideration when ordering. It orders as follows:
track 1 disc 1
track 1 disc 2
track 1 disc 3
track 2 disc 1
track 2 disc 2
etc...

Instead of:

track 1 disc 1
track 2 disc 1
track 3 disc 1
track 1 disc 2
track 2 disc 2
etc...

Hope this helps, cheers!

A quick update on this one - this is an iOS system bug. There's some more information on the blog for Bookmark, which is also having the problem: http://bookmarkapp.com/2010/12/21/cd-...

Hopefully this will be addressed in the next iOS update.
