I want to remove the trial from the branded software that I purchased from you. How do I go about changing it?

There are really two options to do this:

    1) You don't want a demo or a registration code (freeware)

To do this you will need to choose the "Freeware" option for your software. You can choose this option in Step 05: Registration Options when you customize your software.

If you have already finalized your software you will need to unlock it first. This can be done from My Account > My Software > Available Options > Unlock for editing, which is $15.

Select the freeware option and then finalize your software. We will build your software in approximately three business days it will contain the freeware option.

Keep in mind that the freeware option does not contain a registration code screen. Anyone who runs your software will have full access to the software. Your software can be passed from person to person.

    2) You still want to require a registration code, but don't want to have a demo

We don't currently offer a "no demo" type which goes straight to a registration screen. For customers who want to sell their software in this way we recommend that you simply wait until after a sale to provide a download link.

That way if there is a delay in sending the customer a registration code they will still be able to use the demo, but there is still no "try before you buy" option.

If you would like to see "no demo" as a selectable option when you customize your software please post here to let me know. If enough people are interested we will certainly try to implement it.

    Cheers,

  • It turns out we have a hidden "no-demo" feature that I didn't realize I had added to the private label software as an option.

It's not available on our "Registration Options" page when you customize your software yet, but it should be soon.

Until then if you want no demo, only a registration screen that requests a registration code, you should contact me by email.

Unfortunately this will only work for our second generation programs.
