ah bummer - it totally should.
do you have any other cameras attached to you mac? if it couldn't find your camera, it should have popped up a little screen that asks you to select your camera. In most cases, it's called "USB VIDEO CLASS VIDEO." Try selecting that and waving at the camera.

let me know how it goes - i bet we can get it working.

do you see "Google Camera Adaptor 0" & "Google Camera Adaptor 1" in your list of cameras? if so, you'll need to uninstall a certain google plugin that's causing the issue.

since you're on a mac, just go to this location from Macintosh HD:
/Library/Application Support/Google/

And you will see "GoogleVoiceAndVideoUninstaller.app".
Close all active browsers and then double click on the app.

After you get the confirmation message, it should work for you. Let me know how it goes!

thanks cole for your answer, i'm pretty sure that might be the problem.

but, is this mean that i'm going to disable google voice on gmail ?

is there a way to have google voice and robo.to (without turning it off) working at the same time ?

unfortunately for us, that seems to be the case. You'll still be able to access voice and everything through voice.google.com, but making calls or video chatting through gmail will be disabled.

Google is apparently working on a fix, but until then, if you want to use any site that uses Flash to access your webcam, you'll have to uninstall it.

I'll post an update as soon as they release a fix.

hmm, try deleting the plugins directly in the Quicktime folder by following this tutorial: http://blog.rounds.com/mac-users/

don't forget to restart your browser - should work after that.

oh good! yeah that is weird.
well if you run into anything else lemme know. if you want, we can do a one-to-one through iChat's screen sharing to sort it out.
