CSV address exports don't work!

When I try to open the CSV file containing the addresses of my orders, both P-touch Editor and Despatch Pal say that they failed to open the file. Is this a known/fixable issue? The exact error message from Despatch Pal is "Import failed because the file does not have delimited first line".

Thanks.

Hi Tim, thanks for your message. The only thing that I can think of is that we output two bits at the start of the
file so Microsoft Excel knows that it's a unicode CSV. I wasn't aware that it affected the import into other
programs, as certainly OpenOffice and Excel are fine with it. I've removed the two bits at the start of the file,
so please let me know if that works for you. Alternatively it might be worth seeing if there are any records in the file
(for example, you're pointing it at the CSV file rather than say the zip).

Hmm, that doesn't seem to have made any difference. P-Touch still has the same message, whilst Despatch Pal now has error message "I/O error 32". When I try to follow the instructions as to this guide/blog post: http://blog.scrobbld.com/how-to/easy-... , the data is not imported, but I get either one column with the heading "yb" and no data, or 7 columns, the first of which has the heading "yba", and the next 6 have the heading "DIY_Custom_Molded_Silicone_Ear_Plugs_Light_Blue#csv.NoName", still with no data. I'm not sure what you mean by records in the file, but I don't download the files as a zip, so I doubt it's that. Excel has no problems opening the file, so I'm not sure whats up here :/

Thanks.

Might be a plan to email me the CSV that you're trying to import. Please email it ian at scrobbld dot com.

If anyone else has this problem, try opening the CSV in Notepad and resaving it with ANSI encoding, worked like a charm for me.
