Date for tax purposes for ETF distributions

iShares used a record date of 1 July 2019 for the mid year distribution. I therefore expect that it should be recorded in the 2019-20 FY. However, ShareSight are showing it as 2018-19 income. I think this is wrong.
Blackrock state in their Tax Information Booklet:

As a unit holder, you will be assessed on all applicable distributions from each iShares ETF in the financial year in which you are attributed.

As I didn't receive the entitlement until the record date of 1 July - the income was not attributed to me until that date.

Why is ShareSight backdating the income to the prior financial year?
